Walking into a boudoir session can feel exciting... and a little intimidating. Almost every woman who walks into my studio tells me the same thing:

"I've never done anything like this before."

The good news? You don't have to.

You don't need modeling experience, you don't need to know how to pose, and you definitely don't need to look like the women you see on Instagram.

My job is to guide you through every step—from where to place your hands to how to stand, where to look, and how to move naturally. Nothing is rushed, nothing is forced, and we'll create images that feel authentic to you.

Whether your style is soft and romantic, bold and confident, or somewhere in between, your session is designed around you—not around a checklist of poses.

  • Absolutely. Your privacy is extremely important to us. Boudoir sessions are held in a private, comfortable environment with only Michael Rocco and his wife/assistant present. Your images remain completely confidential and will never be shared publicly without your written consent.

  • Choose outfits that make you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. Popular options include lingerie sets, bodysuits, oversized sweaters, robes, or a favorite personal item such as a jersey or button-down shirt. Neutral tones and solid colors tend to photograph beautifully.

    To make the most of your session, we recommend bringing a variety of looks rather than the same outfit in different colors. A mix of styles, colors, and textures will provide more variety in your final gallery.

    Don't worry if you're unsure what to bring—wardrobe guidance is provided before your session to help you feel fully prepared.

  • Not at all. Most clients have never done a boudoir session before. I will guide you through posing, expression, and movement throughout the entire experience so you don't have to know what to do.

  • Yes! Your privacy is extremely important to us. By default, all images remain completely private. Nothing will be posted online, used in marketing materials, or shared in any way unless you choose to sign a separate model release granting permission. Your images are yours, and you remain in control of how they are used.

  • Your private online gallery will typically be delivered within 7–14 business days of your session. Once your gallery is ready, you'll be able to view and download your included images, select additional favorites, and shop for beautiful heirloom products including prints, albums, and wall art.

  • Absolutely. You're welcome to bring one trusted friend if it helps you feel more comfortable. Boudoir sessions are a personal experience, so we ask that guests remain respectful and avoid distracting from the session. If you have someone specific in mind, let us know before your session so we can plan accordingly.
