Where is your photography studio located in New Jersey?

Our private in-home photography studio is located in Woodbury Heights, NJ, serving clients throughout South Jersey and the Philadelphia area. We’re just about 20 minutes from South Philadelphia, making it convenient for both New Jersey and PA clients.

Michael Rocco Photography offers a variety of professional photography sessions in South Jersey and Philadelphia, including individual portraits, family portraits, children’s milestone sessions, headshots, events, and boudoir photography.

Do you offer children’s milestone photography in New Jersey?

Yes! We specialize in children’s milestone photography in New Jersey, including birthdays, baptisms, communions, and other meaningful life moments. Sessions are designed to capture timeless, natural images in a clean and professional studio setting.

What areas do you serve for photography sessions?

We are based in Woodbury Heights, NJ and proudly serve clients throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia. Most sessions take place in our private studio, but we also accommodate select on-location sessions when needed.

How far in advance should I book a photography session?

For in-studio portrait sessions, we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to ensure availability.
For events or milestone sessions such as communions, booking at least 2–3 months in advance is recommended, especially during busy seasons. Weekend availability is limited, so earlier booking is always best.

Do you provide professional hair and makeup services?

Hair and makeup services are included with all full boudoir sessions. For other types of photography sessions, professional hair and makeup can be added for an additional fee.

Do you professionally retouch and edit photos?

Yes! All images included in your selected package receive professional retouching. This includes skin smoothing, sharpening, blemish removal, and overall image enhancement.

We do not alter body shape (such as slimming or removing cellulite), and tattoos are left unedited. Our goal is to enhance your natural look while keeping your images authentic and true to you.

Do I receive all digital images with my session?

Your session fee covers the time and expertise of your shoot, as well as professional editing. Some packages include a set number of digital images, and additional images can be purchased through your private online gallery.

When will I receive my photo gallery?

Your gallery is typically delivered within 14–21 business days after your session. During peak seasons—such as fall and the holidays—turnaround time may be slightly longer. We always aim to deliver your images as quickly as possible without compromising quality.

Will my photos be shared online?

Only with your permission. Every client completes a model release form, allowing you to choose whether your images can be shared online. Your privacy is always respected—sharing is completely optional.

How will I view and select my photos?

You will receive access to a private online gallery where you can view your images, select your favorites, and purchase additional photos, prints, or products—all from home.

Can I share my photos on social media?

Absolutely! We love seeing clients share their images. While not required, tagging @michaelroccophoto or @shotbymichaelrocco on instagram for boudoir is always appreciated and helps others discover our work.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App for your convenience.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

A 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your booking.
If you need to reschedule, you may do so within 30 days of your original session date at no additional cost.
Rescheduling beyond 30 days will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

Can I schedule a consultation before booking a session?

Yes! We offer consultations to go over your vision, styling, session details, and any questions you may have.
This helps ensure your session is exactly what you’re looking for.

Do you offer gift cards/certificates?

Yes! Photography gift cards are available and can be purchased directly through our booking site.
They make a perfect gift for birthdays, baby showers, and special occasions.
