The first weeks with your baby are a blur of tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, little expressions, and moments you wish you could hold onto forever.

Your newborn session is designed to slow things down and preserve those details before they begin to change.

Sessions take place in our private Woodbury Heights studio and are completely baby-led. With up to three hours reserved, there is plenty of time for feeding, changing, soothing, and breaks whenever your baby needs them.

We'll create a collection centered around your newborn, along with a few simple portraits with parents, siblings, and immediate family.

A RELAXED NEWBORN EXPERIENCE

Newborn sessions shouldn't feel rushed. Your session is intentionally scheduled for up to three hours so we can work around your baby's needs rather than expecting your baby to work around a photography schedule.

Feeding breaks, diaper changes, soothing, and quiet time are all part of the experience. We'll create a variety of individual newborn portraits and detail images, along with a few simple family photographs, while keeping your little one at the center of the session.

BOOKING BEFORE BABY ARRIVES

Babies don't always arrive according to schedule, which is why your newborn session is initially reserved around your expected due date rather than a specific photography date.

A $250 non-refundable retainer reserves availability around your due date. Once your baby arrives, simply contact us and we'll work together to confirm your actual session date.

Newborn portraits are best created during the first few weeks after birth, so we recommend reserving your session before your baby arrives whenever possible.

The remaining balance is due seven days before your confirmed session date, or upon confirmation when scheduled less than seven days in advance.

We allow up to three hours so there's plenty of time for feeding, soothing, changing, and breaks. Awake newborn portraits can be just as beautiful, and we'll work with whatever your baby gives us that day.

Yes. Your newborn is the primary focus of the session, but we'll reserve a portion of your session for a few simple portraits with parents, siblings, and immediate family. Extended-family portraits are not included as part of the newborn session.
We'll plan for up to three styled newborn setups, depending on your baby's comfort, cooperation, and the pace of the session. Because every newborn is different, we prioritize your baby's needs rather than rushing to complete a specific number of setups.
Your session includes 20 professionally retouched digital images. After your session, you'll receive a private online proof gallery where you'll select your 20 favorites for final retouching. Additional digital images will also be available for purchase through your gallery.
Your private proof gallery will typically be delivered within 3–5 business days after your session. Once you've selected your 20 included images, final professionally retouched photographs are typically delivered within 14–21 business days.
